Talents Tide is hiring a Contracts & Commercials Manager for an established MEP company operating as part of a leading Dubai-based holding group. The role focuses on managing contractual, commercial, and claims-related matters across engineering and construction projects.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: 7β10 years of relevant experience in contracts management.
- Domain Knowledge: Mandatory background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and construction contracts. Experience with an MEP contractor or engineering & contracting company is highly preferred.
- Preferences: Prior UAE experience and immediate availability or short-notice joining capability.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Manage the full lifecycle of MEP contracts from initial negotiation through completion.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, amendments, and agreements.
- Handle contractual claims, variations, extensions of time, and formal notices.
- Identify contractual and commercial risks and formulate appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Monitor contractual obligations to ensure strict compliance across all ongoing projects.
- Collaborate closely with Project, Commercial, Procurement, Finance, and Legal departments.
- Provide expert contractual guidance to project teams and assist in resolving disputes.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate contractual documentation and records.
- Support commercial negotiations with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
