Legal Counsel II at Teleport
Teleport, an integrated logistics provider focused on Southeast Asia, is seeking a Legal Counsel II to support commercial legal, regulatory, and governance operations in India. This full-time, mid-senior level role involves end-to-end legal support for business operations, special projects, and IPO readiness activities.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Law degree from a recognised institution.
- Licensure: Called to the Bar in India, Malaysia, Singapore, or an equivalent common law jurisdiction.
- Experience: 4-6 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 2 years in private practice.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Provide day-to-end legal support for BAU operations in India, including drafting/reviewing commercial contracts and regulatory compliance.
- Support the General Counsel on special projects, cross-functional initiatives, and IPO readiness.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation (commercial/operational contracts) using approved templates.
- Advise business teams on operational, regulatory, compliance, licensing, dispute, and corporate matters.
- Support governance processes, including board materials, related-party transaction documentation, and legal checklists.
- Improve legal processes, including contract templates, CLM tools, SOPs, and legal trackers.
