Contextual Overview
Teleport, Southeast Asia’s leading integrated logistics provider, is hiring a Legal Counsel II for its Delhi office. The role supports commercial, regulatory and governance matters across India and, when needed, other jurisdictions.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Law degree from a recognised institution and called to the Bar (India, Malaysia, Singapore or equivalent common‑law jurisdiction).
- 4‑6 years post‑qualification experience, including at least 2 years in private practice.
- Experience in logistics, M&A, corporate transactions, intellectual property or data‑privacy matters is preferred.
- Exposure to IPO preparation, fundraising or large‑scale corporate projects is an advantage.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Provide end‑to‑end legal support for day‑to‑day business operations in India.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial and operational contracts using approved templates.
- Support the General Counsel on special projects, cross‑functional initiatives and IPO readiness.
- Offer legal advisory on regulatory, compliance, licensing, dispute and corporate matters.
- Assist internal governance processes, including board material preparation and contract approval workflows.
- Drive process improvements for legal templates, CLM tools, SOPs and knowledge‑sharing materials.
