The Premier Consultants is seeking a seasoned legal professional for the role of Vice President Legal - Real Estate Finance/Construction Finance based in Mumbai. This role is focused on providing strategic legal advisory for structured finance deals, managing regulatory compliance, and overseeing litigation strategy within the banking and NBFC sectors.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 12+ years of professional experience in legal management.
- Specific expertise in the real estate or construction finance sectors.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Lead legal structuring, risk allocation, security creation, and exit strategies for structured finance deals.
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan/facility agreements, development agreements, and security documentation.
- Perform end-to-end title due diligence (ownership, encumbrances, RERA compliance, zoning).
- Ensure compliance with RBI, SEBI, and RERA regulatory frameworks.
- Manage legal strategy for stressed/NPA accounts, including SARFAESI, IBC, NCLT, and arbitration.
- Lead pan-India legal teams, manage external counsel panels, and oversee governance frameworks.
