Associate – Patent Preparation

Contextual Overview

UnitedLex is a global data and professional services firm specializing in legal innovation. They are currently seeking an Associate – Patent Preparation to join their team in Gurgaon or Bangalore to support patent portfolio management, drafting, and prosecution for global clients.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Background: B.E./B. Tech./M. Tech. in Computer Science (CSE), Electronics & Communication (ECE), or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in patent drafting and preparation.
• Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of US Patent Law; knowledge of EP and Indian Patent Laws is an advantage.
• Preferred Qualifications: Registered Patent Agent certification and/or an LL.B. (Hons.) degree.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Drafting US provisional and non-provisional patent applications.
• Analyzing invention disclosures and preparing claims, specifications, and figures.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality patent prosecution support.
• Supporting senior team members in patent-related projects and administrative tasks.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Stipend/Salary: Not specified. The role is a full-time, office-based position with a 5-day work week and two-way cab facility provided for eligible employees.
