Uplevyl is seeking a Legal Engineer to bridge the gap between legal expertise and AI engineering. This role focuses on building evaluation frameworks for AI models, curating golden datasets, and ensuring the accuracy of legal information provided by the platform, specifically regarding US workplace rights.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Law degree with demonstrated practice or research experience in employment, labour, or workplace rights.
- Proven experience in building AI systems (e.g., evaluation harnesses, retrieval pipelines, or scoring scripts).
- Ability to write code to perform evaluation tasks and analyze model outputs.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret statutes and identify inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Evaluation Framework: Design and build benchmark sets, scoring rubrics, and grading criteria to measure AI model performance.
