Senior Legal Counsel – Software & Cloud

Wilken Software Group, a leading technology partner for the supply industry, healthcare, and social institutions, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to serve as a trusted advisor bridging legal and business operations. The role focuses on software and cloud law, requiring a professional who is both a legal expert and a networker.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Qualified lawyer (Volljurist:in) with a focus on IT Law, Data Protection Law, and Contract Law.
• Experience: Several years of experience in IT contract law, specifically with Cloud contracts.
• Languages: Negotiation-level proficiency in both German and English.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills, ability to act as a trusted advisor, and a solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Ensure legally secure software and cloud contracts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) that are practical and understandable.
• Support Product Units as a legal partner regarding projects, risks, and new services.
• Review, negotiate, and draft contracts ranging from licensing law to SLAs and data protection agreements.
• Assess business models in Cloud Computing and IT-Security, identifying opportunities and risks.
• Monitor legislative changes and develop pragmatic legal solutions to keep the company compliant.
