Wolters Kluwer is hiring a full-time Consultant - LBA (Legal Bill Analysis) II for its Legal Bill Analysis Center of Excellence (LBACOE) located in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. The role involves auditing electronically submitted legal fee and expense invoices from law firms and vendors for compliance with billing guidelines.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Paralegal Certification or Bachelor’s Degree in a legal-related discipline and/or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a legal services environment or 2-4 years in a legal bill auditing environment.
• Familiarity with legal billing processes and understanding of federal and/or state rules of civil procedure.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Efficiently and accurately review legal invoice entries against established legal billing guidelines.
• Verify the accuracy of UTBMS task codes (Fee, Activity, and Expense codes) applied to invoice line items.
• Document reasons for adjustments made to invoice line items, citing specific billing guideline violations.
• Communicate and calibrate with team members, quality assurance analysts, and business unit partners.
• Support management in documenting performance metrics and analyzing legal service agreements.
