Legal Counsel

Contextual Overview

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Legal Counsel (Global Accounts) to join its dynamic legal department supporting outbound licensing and sales transactions for commercial customers. This remote position requires periodic travel to the Mumbai office and reports directly to the Associate General Counsel - Global Accounts.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Licensed to practice law in India.
• Minimum of 2+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Extensive background in transactional legal work, with specific experience in technology transactions.
• Substantive knowledge in technology contracts, licensing, data privacy and security, and intellectual property.
• Corporate/commercial legal experience supporting a variety of functions and prior in-house experience are preferred.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review, redline, and negotiate complex transactional contracts, sales, and revenue agreements.
• Support compliance with local and international laws, rules, and regulations.
• Create and conduct employee training on company contracting policies.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice to senior executives and business members on contracting issues and pre-litigation disputes.
• Work with and manage outside counsel to ensure cost-effective services.
