WSP in India is seeking a Senior Consultant - Legal to join their team in Noida. The role involves providing operational and legal support to the Asia legal division of this global engineering professional services firm, with a primary focus on the review and negotiation of construction industry contracts.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Law degree from a recognized institution.
• Experience: 6+ years of relevant legal experience in the construction industry, gained at a reputable law firm or an in-house legal team.
• Skills: Proficiency in English (oral and written), experience in negotiating complex commercial agreements, and the ability to balance commercial imperatives with legal risk.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Reviewing a full range of contracts and associated legal documents.
• Providing clear, concise feedback on contract risks and conducting follow-up discussions with internal stakeholders.
• Proactively managing and leading contract negotiations.
• Building professional relationships with internal business teams, clients, and external legal counsel.
• Maintaining awareness of legislative and regulatory environments relevant to WSP’s operations.
