Description: Imerys, a world leader in mineral-based specialty solutions, is hiring a Legal Counsel to support its businesses in the South Asia region. The role involves providing timely legal advice on commercial matters, drafting and negotiating a wide range of legal documents (NDAs, MOUs, supply contracts, etc.), managing litigation and arbitration, and overseeing corporate governance for legal entities in the region. The successful candidate will also serve as the compliance point of contact and assist with corporate restructuring projects.
Eligibility: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from a reputable law school. A minimum of 6 to 8 years of broad-based commercial legal experience (private practice or in-house) is required, with a preference for experience in industrial MNCs. Applicants should have excellent knowledge of Indian corporate and commercial laws and be fluent in business and legal English.
