OpenFX is seeking a Legal Counsel based in Bengaluru to act as a key partner as the company expands its presence in India and scales globally. The role spans three core areas: India market entry and ongoing business support, general legal support for OpenFX's India hub, and contributing to the global legal function. The work sits at the intersection of cross-border payments, crypto, and technology, ranging from novel regulatory questions to complex commercial contracts and general corporate matters.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide practical legal advice on Indian regulatory frameworks (RBI, FEMA, IFSCA, PMLA, DPDPA).
• Partner with product, compliance, and business teams to design and launch OpenFX's India offerings.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, client agreements, and banking arrangements.
• Provide legal support for the Bangalore office (corporate governance, employment, vendor agreements).
• Collaborate with global legal colleagues in the US, UK, and EU.
