Role and Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in advising Human Resources (HR) and key business stakeholders on a wide array of employment law matters. The responsibilities span the entirety of the employee lifecycle, including:

  • Advising on legal frameworks surrounding hiring and onboarding protocols.
  • Managing complex employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Overseeing disciplinary proceedings, grievance redressal, and internal investigations.
  • Guiding the organization through terminations, separations, and workforce restructuring.
  • Ensuring absolute compliance with central and state-specific labor laws and regulations.
  • Handling legal aspects of workforce mobility, transfers, and secondments.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this prestigious in-house role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Professional Experience: 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) dedicated to Labor & Employment law.
  • Background: Candidates from both leading law firms (with a robust employment law practice) and established in-house corporate legal teams are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Notice Period: Candidates with shorter notice periods or those who are immediately available will be given preference.
