The initiative aims to orient participants with the Ministry's policies and programmes through short-term association and qualitative exposure. Each batch accommodates 20 interns. Interns are required to undertake pilot projects or micro-studies focusing on the Ministry's ongoing activities. The programme is structured to empower women from non-tier-I cities and rural areas, enabling them to proactively address issues related to women and children on various platforms. Selected candidates receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000 and reimbursement of travel costs.
