Community Builder - UAE

Contextual Overview

Malt, a leading European freelance marketplace, is seeking a Community Builder for its UAE operations based in Dubai. This role focuses on driving platform adoption, fostering freelancer loyalty, and bridging global initiatives with the local UAE market to support business growth.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Sales, Project Management, or similar roles.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Middle East, with a strong understanding of UAE market dynamics.
• Professional fluency in English (French or Arabic proficiency is a plus).

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Community Outreach: Source, contact, and onboard top-tier freelancers through 1:1 interactions and networking.
• Event Management: Organize and host local workshops, meetups, and events to build brand presence.
• Content Creation: Develop localized newsletters, articles, and emails tailored to the UAE freelancer ecosystem.
• Business Alignment: Collaborate with the local Sales team to supply qualified profiles and meet business objectives.
• Partnerships: Engage with local entities such as Chambers of Commerce and co-working spaces.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Stipend/Salary: Not specified. The role includes stock options, private health insurance, and a hybrid work model (3 days office/2 days home-office).
