The role involves handling complex legal disputes, representing high-profile clients, and leading litigation strategies before the highest judicial forums in India.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate Lawyer, the selected candidate will be entrusted with significant responsibilities, including:

  • Representing clients and appearing before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, and other specialized tribunals.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing complex legal documents, including petitions, appeals, writs, counter-affidavits, and comprehensive legal opinions.
  • Conducting in-depth and meticulous legal research on intricate constitutional, civil, and commercial law issues.
  • Formulating and strategizing litigation plans, and coordinating effectively with junior associates and external counsels.
  • Independently attending court hearings, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Managing case progress reports, maintaining documentation, and providing proactive legal advice to clients.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for this position must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: LL.B. degree is mandatory; an LL.M. degree is highly preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in active litigation.
  • Court Appearances: A proven track record of independent or lead appearances before the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts.
  • Skills: Exceptional legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills. Candidates must possess strong client-handling capabilities and the ability to manage and mentor a team of junior associates under tight deadlines.
