Admiral Slots is seeking a full-time, permanent Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team based at the Head Office in Team Valley, Gateshead, England. The role involves reporting directly to the Senior Legal Counsel and providing quality, timely advice on commercial and regulatory matters for a national market-leading business undergoing expansion.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified Solicitors with 3-5 PQE (Post Qualification Experience).
• Demonstrated ability to work without supervision.
• Appetite to undertake broader in-house legal work, including Intellectual Property (IP), Data Protection, Regulatory matters, and ad-hoc legal queries.
• Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate with internal departments, field operations, and external stakeholders in a highly regulated sector.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Provide quality and timely advice on commercial and regulatory matters.
• Handle a wide variety of in-house legal issues including IP, Data Protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage ad-hoc legal queries from various business units.
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders in a regulated industry.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

• Base Salary: £65,000.00 - £70,000.00 per year
• Mode: Full-time, permanent, office-based (40 hours per week across 5 days) at Team Valley Head Office.
