Legal Counsel

Contextual Overview

Alea in Barcelona is hiring a Legal Counsel to provide in‑house legal support, contract management, regulatory compliance and dispute resolution for its iGaming operations.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate/contract law, either in‑house or at a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, intellectual‑property law and corporate governance.
• Excellent negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor, service, partnership, NDAs and gaming‑licensing agreements.
• Provide legal risk management and proactive compliance advice across HR, finance and commercial functions.
• Ensure adherence to data‑protection, employment, iGaming and intellectual‑property regulations.
• Serve as the primary legal point of contact, deliver internal training and assist in policy development.
• Manage disputes, coordinate litigation and liaise with external counsel when needed.

Stipend: Competitive salary package (paid).
