Contextual Overview

Alea, a Barcelona‑based company operating in the iGaming sector, is hiring a Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage contractual matters.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate/contract law (in‑house or law firm).
• Strong grasp of GDPR, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
• Excellent negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (vendor, service, partnership, NDAs, gaming & licensing agreements).
• Negotiate with game providers, B2B platforms, and B2C operators.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks; advise on compliance and corporate governance.
• Ensure adherence to data‑protection, employment, iGaming, and IP regulations.
• Serve as primary legal contact for internal departments.
• Manage disputes and coordinate external counsel when needed.
• Develop and update internal policies; conduct legal training for staff.
