ARAG is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel (m/w/d) to join their legal team in Düsseldorf. This role involves providing internal legal advice on corporate and regulatory matters, managing trademark, competition, and antitrust issues, and overseeing international contract negotiations and real estate transactions.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Must be a fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist:in).
• Experience: Several years of professional experience as an in-house counsel, lawyer, or equivalent, ideally within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Language Skills: Excellent proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken).
• Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of corporate and financial regulatory law; additional expertise in trademark, competition, antitrust, capital market, and real estate law is highly preferred.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Internal corporate and regulatory legal advisory for ARAG Group units.
• Legal management of projects related to trademark, competition, and antitrust law.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating domestic and international contracts.
• Legal support for real estate transactions from structuring to closing.
• Monitoring legal developments and providing actionable recommendations to management.
