Senior Corporate Counsel – Arena Family of Companies

Arena Family of Companies is hiring a Senior Corporate Counsel to join a confidential technology company’s in‑house legal team in Orange County, CA.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. State Bar
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant legal experience
• Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements
• Experience advising cross‑functional business stakeholders
• Experience in a technology or regulated environment
• Willingness to work onsite five days per week in Orange County, CA

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements (software, SaaS, technology, vendors, data, licensing, services, confidentiality)
• Manage contract matters from intake through execution
• Advise business leaders on practical legal and commercial issues
• Support technology, privacy, data security, regulatory compliance, and operational risk matters
• Coordinate with outside counsel when necessary
• Develop and improve contract templates, playbooks, clause libraries, and legal processes
• Optimize contract‑management systems and legal technology tools

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: Approximately $240,000 per year plus bonus. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid parental leave, paid time off, life and disability coverage, and professional development support.
