Contextual Overview

Artemis Legal Recruitment is recruiting for an Associate position specializing in Insurance Disputes (Policy Holder) on behalf of a leading UK law firm with a Tier 1 recognized Insurance Disputes Team in the London Area, United Kingdom.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified associate with 1 to 5 years (or 2-5 PQE) of experience at a well-rated UK or international practice.
• Strong matter management experience and exposure to a high level of responsibility.
• Open to strong generalist litigators with experience working on a small number of high-value policyholder disputes.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Handle high-profile and complex work for policyholders, insurers, and brokers across sectors with a focus on energy, real estate, and financial institutions.
• Manage coverage disputes across classes including property damage/business interruption, professional indemnity, D&O, Cyber, Warranty & Indemnity, Credit and Political Risk, Contractors All Risk, and public/product liability.
• Handle contentious regulatory matters in the insurance sector and professional negligence claims (mainly solicitors and insurance brokers).

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Base Pay Range: £150,000.00/yr - £170,000.00/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience)

Mode: Full-time
