Legal Counsel

Contextual Overview

Atlas Copco Group is seeking an experienced, business-minded in-house Legal Counsel to join their team in Rock Hill, SC. This role serves as a generalist legal advisor, providing strategic support across a diverse range of corporate and commercial matters for the North American business.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. State.
• 5–10 years of relevant legal experience, including at least 1 year of in-house experience.
• Ability to qualify for an in-house license if not already held.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements and contracts.
• Providing legal support for M&A, corporate transactions, and post-closing integration.
• Managing employment-related legal matters, including policies and investigations.
• Overseeing litigation and dispute resolution, including management of outside counsel.
• Advising on compliance initiatives and internal policy development.
