Ave Staffing is recruiting a Complex Commercial Litigation Associate for a premier business law firm in Raleigh, NC. This role focuses on high-stakes trial work, including intellectual property, employment, and regulatory disputes, within a collaborative, non-siloed practice environment.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: 4–6 years of substantive, high-level complex commercial litigation experience.
• Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with a distinguished academic record.
• Licensure: Active license in any U.S. jurisdiction; must obtain North Carolina State Bar admission within one year of hire.
• Preferred: Prior judicial clerkship or large law firm tenure.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Manage all phases of the litigation lifecycle, including pre-suit investigations and discovery strategy.
• Act as first-chair advocate in depositions, evidentiary hearings, and oral arguments.
• Draft complex pleadings, summary judgment motions, and appellate briefs.
• Supervise discovery protocols and manage third-party subpoena workflows.
• Partner with senior counsel on trial preparation, including motions in limine and expert disclosures.
• Provide strategic risk assessment and advisory services to corporate and institutional clients.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Salary: $180,000 – $220,000 (Dependent on Experience).
Mode: On-site / Hybrid.
