Blue Coral Staffing Corp. is seeking a hands-on Corporate In-House Legal Counsel based in New York, NY. The role involves supporting the organization across a broad range of legal, regulatory, and risk matters within a fast-paced professional services environment, reporting directly to the General Counsel.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Degree: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required.
• Bar Admission: Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.
• Experience: 4–6 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm environment.
• Location: 100% on-site in New York, NY (Local candidates ideal).

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, including client engagements, vendor agreements, and strategic arrangements.
• Support corporate governance activities, including entity management, board-related matters, and internal governance practices.
• Provide legal support across U.S. and international employment, operational matters, restructuring proceedings (Chapter 11, receivership), court-mandated actions, and data protection/privacy frameworks (GDPR, U.S. frameworks).
• Manage litigation, disputes, and claims in coordination with outside counsel.
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear written analyses and recommendations for executive audiences.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

• Base Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
• Additional Compensation: Discretionary annual bonus potential of 20-25% plus benefits.
• Mode: 100% On-site / In-office (5 days per week in New York, NY).
