Senior Associate, Investments Legal – Brookfield (Singapore)

Brookfield Real Estate Group is hiring a Senior Associate to provide strategic legal advice, lead transaction execution and manage corporate securities matters across its real‑estate portfolio. The role focuses on Japan with secondary responsibilities in South Korea, South‑East Asia and the wider Asia Pacific region.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Tertiary qualifications in a legal related discipline.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Japanese.
• Minimum 5‑7 years of M&A, finance, equity capital markets or debt capital markets legal experience in a top‑tier law firm or large multinational organisation.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Strategic legal advice and leadership of transaction execution and investment consortium arrangements.
• Primary focus on Japan; secondary focus on South Korea, South‑East Asia and regional initiatives.
• Execution of complex, multi‑faceted transactions across all sectors and transaction types.
• Management of legal and commercial risks, conflicts, fund compliance matters, contract documents and capital management initiatives.
• Litigation support, external legal engagement management and liaison with external advisers.
• Collaboration with management and Brookfield Group functions (Tax, Accounting, Risk, Compliance).
• Oversight and support of lawyers in the Real Estate Group across the region.
