CapeClarke is currently facilitating recruitment for a leading US law firm in Dubai, seeking a junior-to-mid-level Funds Lawyer (1–3 PQE) to join their expanding private funds practice. The role focuses on sophisticated institutional clients and complex cross-border investment fund matters.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: 1–3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) at a leading international or US law firm.
• Specialization: Proven experience in private funds, including both GP-side and LP-side matters.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in fund formation, fund investments, and drafting/negotiating fund documentation (LPA, subscription, side letters).
• Academic Credentials: Strong academic background and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Advise General Partners (GPs) and sponsors on the establishment, structuring, and operation of private investment funds.
• Advise Limited Partners (LPs) and institutional investors on fund investments, including document review and negotiation.
• Draft and negotiate LPA, subscription, side letter, and related fund documentation.
• Support clients on alternative investment strategies including private equity, venture capital, and credit.
• Manage cross-border matters in collaboration with international offices.
