Senior Counsel

Contextual Overview

Catalent, a global leader in drug development and delivery, is seeking a Senior Counsel to join their corporate team in Bridgewater, NJ. This role focuses on transactional and commercial legal matters, including contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and M&A support within the pharmaceutical sector.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of three years of transactional or commercial law experience.
• Prior experience in a large law firm or in-house pharmaceutical setting.
• Must possess the ability to practice as an in-house lawyer in New Jersey.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review, and negotiate manufacturing, supply, license, and service agreements.
• Advise business units on compliance policies and regulatory issues.
• Support merger and acquisition (M&A) activities.
• Manage customer disputes, claims, and litigation, including directing outside counsel.
• Provide day-to-day legal guidance to senior management.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Salary: $136,000 – $210,000 per annum plus bonus (dependent on experience and business needs).

Mode: Onsite (4 days per week expectation at the Bridgewater, NJ office).
