Trade Compliance Analyst

Contextual Overview

Caterpillar Inc. is hiring a Trade Compliance Analyst within its Trade Center of Excellence (TCOE) under Law, Security & Public Policy in Singapore. The role acts as a trusted business partner to strengthen controls, support strategic decisions, and embed compliance into day-to-day operations.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs processes, import/export controls, and compliance program requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in trade compliance, customs, import/export operations, or a related field.
• Ability to evaluate complex issues, identify root causes, assess risk, and recommend practical solutions.
• Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Support customs and trade compliance risk assessments, identify potential gaps, and help implement mitigation actions.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining trade compliance policies, procedures, controls, and processes.
• Work closely with business divisions, legal, and compliance teams to provide practical trade compliance guidance.
• Deliver training on applicable trade, customs, and regulatory requirements relevant to Caterpillar’s products, services, and technologies.
• Communicate risks, recommendations, progress, and outcomes clearly to relevant stakeholders.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Compensation: Total rewards package providing day-to-day benefits along with the potential of a variable bonus, paid annual leave, flexi leave, medical, and insurance.

Mode: Full-time, Onsite (5 days a week in Singapore)
