Co‑op’s Legal Services division is hiring a Family Law Solicitor for its Bristol office (hybrid working with options in Manchester, Stratford‑upon‑Avon and Sheffield). The role is full‑time and suitable for newly qualified (NQ) or Associate solicitors with experience in privately funded family law matters.

Key Eligibility Criteria

Qualified solicitor or CILEX qualified.
Demonstrated experience handling privately funded family law cases.
Ability to meet chargeable‑time and profit‑cost targets.
Strong IT and case‑management system skills.
Excellent relationship‑building and customer‑service abilities.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Manage a mixed caseload of family law matters from inception to resolution.
Negotiate settlements and achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
Maintain accurate records using the firm’s case‑management system.
Draft and audit legal documents and correspondence.
Meet individual and team chargeable‑time and profit targets.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Base salary: £34,000 – £48,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
