Colas Rail, a subsidiary of the Bouygues Group specializing in rail infrastructure, is seeking a Senior International Procurement & Business Law Counsel to join their Corporate Business Law team in Puteaux, France. The role focuses on providing legal security for procurement activities, managing international commercial contracts, and overseeing group contractual governance.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Master’s degree in Business Law or Contract Law. CAPA (French Bar) qualification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in business law and commercial contracts, with significant international experience.
• Languages: Bilingual/Full professional proficiency in English and professional working proficiency in French.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement framework agreements and commercial contracts (IT, SaaS, licenses, etc.).
• Identify and mitigate legal/contractual risks in international projects.
• Manage pre-litigation and litigation matters in coordination with external counsel.
• Develop and deploy group contractual templates and provide training on negotiation standards.
• Support internal teams on GDPR and personal data protection compliance.
