EC/VC Associate (Legal)

Contextual Overview

Considine Search is seeking a corporate associate with 2 to 8 years of experience to join its client's corporate group. The role focuses primarily on working with emerging growth companies and the institutional investors that support them across the New York and Washington, D.C. offices.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: JD Degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar Admission: Admitted to practice in the state of the respective office.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emerging Growth/Venture Capital (EC/VC) experience, with direct AmLaw 100 firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation and strategy.
• Draft legal documents including contracts, briefs, motions, and correspondence.
• Manage complex transactions from inception to resolution, including venture capital financings and M&A transactions.
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing proactive advice on day-to-day corporate matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys and business professionals to achieve favorable transaction outcomes.
• Ensure rigorous compliance with legal standards and regulations.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Base Pay Range: $235,000.00/yr - $455,000.00/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience)

Mode: Full-time, On-site / Office-based
