Senior Corporate Counsel

ConsumerDirect, Inc., a financial technology company based in Irvine, California, is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join their legal team. This role serves as a primary legal partner to the business, managing a broad spectrum of corporate, commercial, technology, and regulatory matters while reporting directly to the General Counsel.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensure: Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (California bar membership preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant legal experience, preferably with a background in fintech, SaaS, or highly regulated industries.
• Skills: Proficiency in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and experience with legal contract management software.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements (SaaS, vendor, licensing, data-related).
• Provide proactive legal guidance to product, technology, and executive leadership teams.
• Manage legal matters end-to-end, balancing legal risk with business objectives.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, privacy, and data security matters.
• Optimize legal operations through the implementation of templates, workflows, and AI-enabled legal technology.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Base Pay Range: $200,000.00 – $220,000.00 per year.

Mode: Full-time, in-office at Irvine, CA.
