The firm's Healthcare Practice Group represents regional hospital systems, ambulatory surgery centers, medical foundations, and healthcare businesses across California.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- 1–4 years of experience in a healthcare regulatory or corporate transactional practice.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory matters (provider licensing, enrollment, reimbursement, fraud and abuse, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA) preferred.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Advise healthcare providers and businesses on federal and California healthcare laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, and prepare legal analyses on healthcare regulatory issues.
- Assist with healthcare mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, restructurings, and due diligence.
- Draft, review, and negotiate healthcare and corporate agreements, including management services and professional services agreements.
- Advise clients on corporate governance, entity formation, and operational matters.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode
Annual Salary: $160,000 to $190,000 (Dependent on Qualifications) plus competitive bonuses, robust benefits, and onsite paid parking.
Work Model: Flex hybrid 3/2 work model (Full-time / Direct-hire).
