Legal Counsel at Dassault Systèmes
Dassault Systèmes is hiring a Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and support for commercial and corporate matters, primarily within the Benelux region and other EMEA countries as needed. The role involves managing complex commercial agreements, specifically software licensing and professional services contracts, while supporting sales, services, and business stakeholders.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Master's in Laws (LLM) degree.
- Experience: Relevant experience in an international company (ideally stock-listed) or a well-renowned law firm.
- Language: Fluent in Dutch and English (including Legal English).
- Skills: Excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, strong communication, and business judgment.
- Preferred: IT industry experience.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Negotiate and draft software license agreements, professional services/support agreements, NDAs, and distribution agreements.
- Support sales and services teams in Benelux and other EMEA countries.
- Assist with Benelux-related aspects of group acquisitions and mergers (M&A) in coordination with HQ Corporate Legal.
- Advise on general corporate and commercial matters.
- Develop training materials for employees regarding legal processes and compliance.
- Contribute to EMEA Legal Department initiatives.
