Position: Specialist in energy and water efficiency codes and standards. Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage development and administration of sector regulations, codes and standards.
• Conduct periodic reviews and updates of regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs Sector on policy effectiveness and implementation gaps.
• Commission research to support policy development and ensure alignment with government decisions.
• Facilitate interaction among energy and water disciplines to build synergies.
• Collaborate with Legal Affairs Office to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to enhance sector performance.
• Prepare regulatory reports regularly and accurately.
• Measure social, economic and environmental impacts of new policies.
• Ensure feedback mechanisms for regulation development and implementation.
