Docebo, an AI-powered enterprise learning platform, is recruiting a full-time Legal Counsel to be based in London, UK. Operating under a hybrid work model (three days in-office per week), the selected candidate will take ownership of the negotiation and lifecycle management of Docebo's commercial contract ecosystem, acting as a trusted legal advisor to global Sales, Dealdesk, Security, and RFP teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Legal Qualification: JD/LLB degree from an accredited law school and active admission to practice law in the United Kingdom.
- Experience: At least 3 years of post-qualification experience as in-house legal counsel, preferably within the SaaS or broader technology sector.
- Core Expertise: Hands-on experience drafting, negotiating, and closing SaaS subscription agreements, data privacy/security addendums, AI terms, SOWs, and partnership contracts.
- Desirable Qualifications: Spoken and written fluency in French; working knowledge of GDPR and UK privacy regulations; familiarity with Salesforce and Linksquares CLM.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Manage the end-to-end negotiation process for Master Service Agreements (MSAs), SLAs, NDAs, Software Service Addendums (including AI provisions), and SOWs.
- Collaborate directly with Sales, Dealdesk, Finance, Security, and Partnership teams to resolve contractual risks and accelerate deal execution.
- Conduct forensic reviews of prospective client contracts to detect risks early and align terms with company standards.
- Draft and structure complex partnership agreements, including referral, reseller, and subcontractor arrangements.
- Assist the RFP team with tender responses, major sales documents, and commercial legal queries.
Compensation, Work Mode & Benefits
- Base Pay Range: £83,900.00 – £111,900.00 per year.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid setup requiring presence in the London office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
