Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Graduate of an accredited law school.
• Licensure: Must be a member of the Quebec Bar.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Language: Full professional proficiency (written and oral) in both French and English.
• Preferred: Knowledge of forestry, natural resources, environment, international trade, or prior in-house experience in the pulp and paper industry.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Drafting, negotiating, and revising procurement and sales agreements.
• Managing unit litigation matters with external counsel support.
• Providing legal support for group-wide projects including M&A, restructurings, and mill projects.
• Advising on compliance and policy matters for the Business Unit.
