Contract Manager

Contextual Overview

Dragados UK & Ireland is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee all aspects of the Joint Venture (JV) contract for the Euston Station project with the HS2 Client. This role involves comprehensive contract administration, dispute resolution, and commercial oversight within a major construction infrastructure environment.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related field.
• Proven experience in contract management, administration, or construction law.
• Expert knowledge of NEC Contracts and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Review Prime Contract terms, commitments, and Works Information.
• Manage subcontract terms to ensure they are back-to-back with the main agreement.
• Oversee the JV change control process and assist in drafting early warning notices.
• Advise on conflicts between contract obligations and current legislation.
• Support the Project Director and Commercial Director in dispute resolution with the Client.
• Audit compliance with insurance, guarantees, and warranties.
• Provide regular reports to the JV Board on prime contract matters.
