Compliance Manager

Contextual Overview

Eden Rose is recruiting a Compliance Manager on behalf of a financial institution operating within the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the organization’s compliance framework in alignment with UAE laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience: 8+ years of relevant compliance experience within financial services, capital markets, investment firms, brokerage, or asset management.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE financial services regulatory requirements and experience working with UAE regulators.
• Preferred Qualifications: Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CISI, or ACAMS are considered advantageous.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Develop and implement the organization’s Compliance Framework, policies, and controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations.
• Conduct periodic compliance monitoring, testing, and risk assessments.
• Oversee AML/CFT, KYC, sanctions, and market conduct compliance.
• Provide regulatory advice to senior management and business teams.
• Liaise with UAE regulatory authorities regarding inspections and inquiries.
• Prepare periodic compliance reports for the Board and senior management.
