Corporate Legal Counsel (Retainer Basis)

Edit Lobby, a firm operating in the creative services, media, and technology sectors, is seeking a Corporate Legal Counsel to join their team on a contract/retainer basis. The role involves managing the end-to-end client contracting lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements to protect the company's interests.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Recognised law degree.
• Experience: 3–7 years of professional experience in commercial contracts, corporate law, or technology/media services.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs) and an ability to translate complex legal risks into practical business solutions.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review, and revise client agreements and commercial contracts.
• Lead or support negotiations regarding commercial and legal terms, including IP, liability, and indemnity.
• Identify and mitigate legal/commercial risks during the contracting process.
• Provide ad-hoc legal advice on vendor, freelancer, and partner agreements.
• Maintain and improve standard contract templates and legal documentation repositories.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Mode: Remote / Flexible
