Contextual Overview
Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced In-House Plot Conveyancer for a rapidly expanding residential developer based in Sheffield. This role involves managing plot sales, part-exchanges, and resales within an in-house legal team, supporting the company's ambitious growth targets through 2028.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a plot sales/new build environment or residential conveyancing practice.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the conveyancing process and residential property environment.
- Ability to manage high volumes of work with strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Manage day-to-day plot conveyancing, including investigation of title for freehold and leasehold properties.
- Prepare reports on title and ensure all legal documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Conduct due diligence, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and source-of-funds verification.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (sales, commercial, land, and technical teams) to ensure timely completions.
- Maintain knowledge of current home ownership and sales incentive schemes.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum plus company car or car allowance. Includes a comprehensive benefits package (pension, healthcare, wellbeing allowance, and flexible working).
