Equifax is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel based in Auckland, New Zealand, to provide specialized legal advice on data privacy, competition, consumer law, and corporate/commercial matters. Key Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 8+ years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Proven in-house experience with a major corporation or experience at a reputable law firm.
• Expertise in Data Privacy, Competition, and Consumer Law.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiation and risk management.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating diverse customer contracts (MSAs, IT agreements, licenses, joint ventures).
• Advising on New Zealand regulatory issues, including privacy and companies law.
• Providing solution-oriented legal risk advice to business partners and leadership.
• Collaborating with Compliance and Legal teams to support sales and operational matters.
