Contextual Overview

Euronext Athens is seeking an experienced Corporate Commercial Legal Counsel to join its team in Athens. Reporting to the Head of Legal Services, the successful candidate will provide strategic legal support across corporate and commercial matters, handle corporate secretariat responsibilities, and act as a trusted business partner to senior management and cross-functional teams.

Key Eligibility Criteria

Qualified lawyer with strong academic credentials and admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction.
At least 8 years of relevant professional post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably within a reputable law firm and/or multinational corporate environment.
Proven experience in corporate governance and corporate secretariat responsibilities.
Strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates).

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including service agreements, procurement contracts, NDAs, and technology-related contracts.
Lead and coordinate corporate secretariat matters, board/committee meetings, statutory records, and corporate filings.
Support M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, and strategic projects.
Advise on legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented solutions to finance, procurement, sales, and operations functions.
Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and other stakeholders.
