Contextual Overview

Fluidstack is seeking a Counsel, Infrastructure to join their legal team in New York, NY. This role is responsible for building the legal and compliance function from the ground up to support large-scale compute infrastructure and data center development. The position focuses on high-stakes commercial negotiations and strategic legal partnership within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Active license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• Proven experience as lead attorney in structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial agreements (supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, or technology transactions).
• Demonstrated ability to manage outside counsel across multiple disciplines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal issues into actionable business decisions.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Structure and negotiate commercial agreements for data center buildouts.
• Manage complex negotiations with sophisticated counterparties.
• Oversee outside counsel regarding scope, quality, and spend.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, and delivery teams.
• Advise business leadership on legal and commercial risks.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Base Pay Range: $300,000 - $400,000 per year.
