foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to lead antitrust and competition law matters across its APAC operations. The role involves managing a multi-jurisdictional portfolio in over 10 markets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advising senior leadership on competition law risks.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• 5+ years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in competition/antitrust law.
• Qualification to practise in Singapore is preferred.
• Experience in top-tier international law firms or fast-paced in-house environments.
• Strong understanding of APAC antitrust regimes (e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines) and digital economy regulations.
• Knowledge of platform economics, network effects, and two-sided markets.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Oversee competition law aspects of foodpanda’s APAC operations, including antitrust investigations and commercial agreements.
• Design and implement the global competition law compliance program tailored to APAC market nuances.
• Advise senior regional and local leadership on strategic initiatives and regulatory investigations.
• Provide advice on platform-specific issues such as merchant parity, loyalty programs, dynamic pricing, and gig economy labor/competition nexus.
• Lead competition law investigations and develop 'Dawn Raid' readiness protocols.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on antitrust risks and compliance culture.
