Frasers Group, a global retail leader managing brands such as Sports Direct, FLANNELS, and GAME, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their in-house team at their Shirebrook headquarters. The role focuses on commercial contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and supporting the group's diverse business operations.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Proven expertise in commercial contract negotiation.
• Ability to work on-site 5 days a week at the Shirebrook HQ.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Drafting and negotiating commercial, supply chain, IT, and licensing agreements.
• Managing commercial disputes, litigation, and small claims.
• Ensuring compliance with advertising regulations (CAP code) and e-commerce operations.
• Assisting with M&A transactions, including due diligence and drafting transaction documents.
• Liaising with regulatory bodies such as the ICO, ASA, and Trading Standards.
• Supervising junior team members and managing external counsel.
