Senior Legal Counsel

Contextual Overview

Future Electronics, a global leader in the electronic components industry, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel based in München. This in-house role provides legal advice and support on operational practices across EMEA, serving a diverse internal client base to minimize business risk while reporting to the Corporate VP – Legal & General Counsel.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Law degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience: 7 to 12 years of post-qualification experience in a commercial legal role (private practice or in-house).
• Language: Fluency in English and German (written and oral) is mandatory; a second language is considered an asset.
• Skills: Commercially astute, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including MPAs, Terms of Business, and Consignment Agreements.
• Advise on supplier agreements, focusing on warranty, IP infringement, and indemnification.
• Manage office lease agreements and provide support on employment law, IP, and insurance matters.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations (export/import) and provide assistance on GDPR/Data Protection.
• Collaborate with global legal teams in Canada, EMEA, and Asia.
