This role focuses on high-value transactional work, including M&A, private equity, and equity capital markets, with a clear trajectory toward partnership. The position involves managing complex transactions, mentoring junior lawyers, and actively engaging in business development within the Midlands market.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 5 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Proven experience in a broad range of corporate legal matters.
• Demonstrable technical legal ability and commercial acumen.
• Experience in or a strong desire to manage transactions and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Lead and support on M&A, private equity investments, exits, and joint ventures.
• Provide commercial, well-reasoned legal advice to a diverse client base.
• Mentor and inspire junior corporate lawyers within the team.
• Network and build connections in the local corporate finance market.
• Collaborate with partners on high-value, complex instructions.
