Global Legal Counsel (f/m/d) at GC International AG
GC International AG, a global leader in dental care and oral health based in Lucerne, Switzerland, is seeking a Global Legal Counsel to join its headquarters. This role involves acting as a trusted legal partner to the business, supporting international operations across multiple jurisdictions, and reporting directly to the General Counsel.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Master of Laws from a Swiss or EU University.
- Bar Admission: Preferably admitted to the bar in Switzerland, Germany, or Austria.
- Experience: 3-5 years in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Skills: Strong experience in commercial contract law is mandatory. Familiarity with compliance topics (GDPR, anti-bribery) is required.
- Languages: Fluent in English and German.
- Industry Preference: Life sciences or medtech experience is a plus.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Commercial & Contract Law: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (sales, procurement, services, distribution); support contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes.
- Legal Business Partnering: Advise HQ functions (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, R&D) on legal risks and strategic initiatives, including intellectual property rights.
- Global Legal Projects: Support the development of the global legal organization across EMEA, Americas, APAC, and Japan; contribute to legal transformation projects (legal tech, CLM systems).
- Compliance & Risk: Develop global compliance frameworks (anti-bribery, data protection, corporate governance); advise on GDPR and data privacy.
- External Counsel Management: Coordinate external legal advisors and liaise with authorities and regulators.
