Banking Specialist

Contextual Overview

GCG Structuring, a boutique corporate structuring and advisory firm based in Dubai Media City, is hiring a full-time, in-office Banking Specialist. The firm designs multi-jurisdictional holding structures, trusts, and wealth architectures across DIFC, ADGM, UAE mainland, free zones, and offshore jurisdictions for high-net-worth clients.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Dual-Side Experience: Prior experience working inside a UAE bank alongside hands-on experience placing corporate clients into accounts from the client side.
• Industry Relationships: Established direct relationships with relationship managers and onboarding teams at UAE and relevant international banks.
• Complex Structuring Familiarity: Proven experience managing multi-layer ownership structures, cross-border sources of wealth/funds, offshore holding chains, and higher-risk jurisdictions.
• Valued Skills & Certifications: AML or compliance certification (CAMS, ICA, or equivalent), proficiency in Russian or Arabic in addition to English, and exposure to DIFC/ADGM jurisdictions are advantageous.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Bank Placement & Selection: Evaluate complex client profiles to determine optimal banking jurisdictions and institutions, manage applications through account opening, and oversee post-onboarding services.
• Escalation & Diagnostics: Handle account declines by diagnosing underlying issues, reworking compliance files, and repositioning profiles to alternative banking partners.
• Compliance & Risk Pre-emption: Work alongside the compliance team on Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) analysis, and Source of Wealth (SoW) / Source of Funds (SoF) verifications.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Mode: Full-time, In-Office (Dubai Media City)

Compensation & Benefits: Base salary is not specified. Benefits include employment visa, medical insurance, performance-based bonus linked to account opening throughput, participation in service line revenue, and 22 working days annual paid leave.
